Cancer Research: Elsie’s Story

 “I don’t think there’s anything that can dull Elsie’s sparkle,” her mom says. For 4-year-old Elsie and her family, being part of a research study during her acute lymphoblastic leukemia treatment is their way of paying it forward for other families who need cancer care in the future. These necessary research studies have helped the oncology community make dramatic strides forward in the last few decades—all while providing patients with cutting-edge therapy today.
