Your health care and income protection plans

The Take CARE Benefits Plan provides you with a variety of health care and income protection plans designed to support your physical, emotional and financial wellness, including medical, dental and vision plans, flexible spending accounts, life and disability insurance and many voluntary benefits.

Unless informed otherwise, you are eligible for the Take CARE Benefits Plan the first of the month after 30 days of employment. You have 30 days from your eligibility date to enroll for benefits.

Our Benefit Communication Specialists will provide a comprehensive overview of the Take CARE Benefits Plan during Children’s Mercy Orientation. To review details prior to orientation, refer to the Online Enrollment Guide.
