Services Provided:
We advocate for children and families in our community who have had environmental exposures that may have resulted in adverse health effects or ongoing health concerns. These may include, but are not limited to, asthma and allergy triggers, exposures to lead or other heavy metals, chemicals, moisture and dampness agents, excess particles or other exposures that have occurred where the child lives, learns or plays.
Our programs offer a wide variety of information and assessment through:
- Healthy Homes Assessments
- Certified Lead Assessments
- A Healthy School Assessment
- Free consultation services, referral, outreach, and education/training on regional environmental health initiatives with the Mid-America Pediatric Environmental Health Specialty Unit (PEHSU)
