Critical Care Transport Outreach and Education

Children's Mercy Critical Care Transport provides outreach education for community clinic and hospital nurses, EMS and fire personnel in conjunction with our Trauma Services and Neonatal Outreach programs. By assisting with your neonatal and pediatric education needs, we help ensure your facility or service is equipped with the knowledge needed to provide stabilization of patients in emergency situations.

Education events available upon request can include:

  • In person or virtual continuing education presentations on traumatic injuries, various medical conditions seen in neonatal and pediatric patients, complex medical conditions and safe transport.

  • Patient follow-up

  • Case reviews
