Critical Care Transport Outreach and Education
Children's Mercy Critical Care Transport provides outreach education for community clinic and hospital nurses, EMS and fire personnel in conjunction with our Trauma Services and Neonatal Outreach programs. By assisting with your neonatal and pediatric education needs, we help ensure your facility or service is equipped with the knowledge needed to provide stabilization of patients in emergency situations.
Education events available upon request can include:

In person or virtual continuing education presentations on traumatic injuries, various medical conditions seen in neonatal and pediatric patients, complex medical conditions and safe transport.

To request Children’s Mercy’s participation in a health fair, conference or event or if staff need education, training or support related to a children’s health issue, please submit the online form. Requests are reviewed weekly, and a representative will contact you to confirm participation. We are best able to accommodate requests that provide a lead time of a month or more.
