Career Academy

Project RISE presents the Children’s Mercy Career Academy, a free opportunity open to the community to explore career choices, gain skills in developing resumes and learn how to ace an interview. Project RISE is a program at Children’s Mercy that provides employment opportunities and guidance for individuals with disabilities or health conditions, including current and former patients. Participants are encouraged to attend the entire series of classes, but may also register for classes individually.

Qualifications

Participants must be:

  • At least 15 years of age

  • An individual with a disability or health condition

  • Interested in exploring career choices and learning more about the job market
