Pediatric Ear, Nose, and Throat

Elective duration: Four weeks
Format: Clinic, Inpatient & OR
Prerequisites: Completion of the Core Pediatric Clerkship and must be in final year of medical school. Must complete OR safety training scheduled for 1st working day of each month prior to going into the OR.
Description: Learn basic pediatric head and neck exam and anatomy; understand basic middle-ear pathology and interventions; airway pathology; and work up and common head and neck disease processes.

Criteria for honors: Short presentation on a topic of the student's choice involving pediatric ENT.
