Pediatric Radiology
Educational objectives: Completion of core pediatric clerkship required. UMKC MS5 or 6, outside MS 3 or 4 after completion of core pediatric clerkship.

Elective duration: One month
Prerequisites: Ideal for 5th and 6th year students who have completed the Pediatrics rotation. 4th and 5th year students who have completed Family Medicine or Internal Medicine will also be accepted. No 4th year students will be accepted in July unless they have completed a core clinical rotation.
Description: Monday-Friday, broken up into morning and afternoon tasks. These will include observing technologists obtain imaging studies, observing radiologists interpret and report studies, generating reports for unknown cases, completing online modules and attending teaching conferences. There will be a pre-test and post-test, as well as a presentation on a topic of the students' choice at the end of the rotation.

Criteria for passing: Attendance and satisfactory performance on the clinical evaluation.
Criteria for honors: Outstanding performance on the clinical evaluation, including high score on the post-test and high quality end-of-rotation presentation.
